Real Estate Project Manager

Job Summary:
The Real Estate Project Manager will oversee and manage Communities First, Inc.’s real estate development projects from inception to completion. The Real Estate Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating project timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Essential Functions:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of real estate development projects, this could include site acquisition support, permitting, and construction.
- Develop project scopes, objectives, and budgets.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants to develop and review project plans and specifications.
- Manage project schedules and timelines, monitoring progress and ensuring milestones are met.
- Prepare and present project updates, status reports, and financial analyses to senior management and stakeholders.
- Provide support with negotiating contracts, manage vendor relationships, and ensure adherence to project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and control costs to ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
- Implement risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues.
- Ensure compliance with zoning regulations, building codes, environmental regulations, and other legal requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Undergraduate or Graduate degree preferred.
- Project Management Professional Certification preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Training, and Experience:
- Strong understanding of real estate development processes, construction methods, and project management principles.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and written/oral communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera) and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, develop innovative solutions, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Knowledge of local building codes, zoning laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in budget management, cost control, and financial analysis.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Effective interpersonal skills which enables working with others to elicit information, to think creatively, and to work independently.
- Strong work ethic and initiative; desire to work in an entrepreneurial, team-based environment.
