Job Summary:

The Maintenance and Facilities Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the upkeep, maintenance, and security of CFI’s physical sites, ensuring that the infrastructure operates efficiently and safely. The leader selected for this role will manage a team of maintenance technicians, assist with coordinating with contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Essential Functions:

  • Facility Maintenance: Oversee and provide routine maintenance of building systems including but not limited to: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance plan to reduce downtime and ensure equipment longevity.
  • Vendor Management: Communicate with external vendors and service providers for specialized maintenance tasks.
  • Budget Management:  Ensure cost-effective solutions and proper allocation of resources.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA standards. Conduct safety audits and inspections.
  • Facility Upgrades: Assist with facility renovations, upgrades, and new construction projects to improve operational efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train maintenance team, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as necessary.

Education:

High School Diploma is required; Undergraduate degree preferred

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Training, and Experience:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Effective interpersonal skills which enable working with others to elicit information, to think creatively, and to work independently.
  • Knowledge and application of safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant maintenance software, vendor management systems, and other tools as needed.
  • Strong work ethic and initiative; desire to work in an entrepreneurial, team-based environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and community partners, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Experience in facilities management, including managing budgets and coordinating large projects.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Maintenance or Facilities Management.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical.
